Park Regis Birmingham – the flagship hotel from Switch Hospitality Management Ltd – recently hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the launch of its new partnership with Rituals.
Hosted at Park Regis’ Sky Loft, which offers unrivalled views of the city skyline from the 16th floor, guests were invited to take part in relaxation workshops, which included chair yoga with Lenora Yoga and a meditative breathing session from Ajna Breath.
It marked the launch of the hotel’s partnership with luxury beauty brand, Rituals. ‘The Ritual of Jing’ collection will now be featured in every guest room at Park Regis Birmingham. Made using bio-degradable ingredients, the eco-friendly products – including shower gel, shampoo and hand lotion – will all be refillable. The partnership will enable the hotel to save more than 188,000 plastic bottles every year.
The launch forms part of Park Regis’ ongoing commitment to create a more sustainable future. Wider initiatives include: the replacement of plastic pens with bamboo alternatives; removal of single-use plastics from conference rooms; the development of partnerships to curb food waste; operational changes to reduce energy usage, and work with Greengage to improve its carbon footprint this year.
Levi Bailey, Operations Director at Switch Hospitality Management, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate Park Regis’ brand-new partnership with Rituals, which will support the journey towards our ambitious sustainability goals, whilst elevating our guests’ experience. Both brands are aligned with a commitment to reducing our impact on the planet, and our wellness evening was a wonderful opportunity to mark this important collaboration.”
Park Regis is the flagship hotel from Switch Hospitality Management, which also provides management and consultancy services for Holiday Inn Express Birmingham South, St Martin’s Place, Lyndon House, Royal Angus Hotel and Nite Nite Hotel.
