Since INDUS launched its very own Indian afternoon tea in 2022, it has remained popular with guests and influencers alike. Now, an exciting new menu has arrived, providing the perfect way to add sparks to a special occasion this autumn/winter.

The delicious new sweet and savoury items include fresh chicken jalfrezi wraps, mini chilli scones with mango chutney, pistachio macaroon with crushed raspberry, traditional carrot halwa, mango cheesecake and much more, all served with high quality loose-leaf tea.

What is Afternoon Tea?

The Afternoon Tea is a popular tradition steeped in British history. Traditionally involving tea and/or alcoholic drinks, miniature sandwiches, cakes, scones and other finger food, the Afternoon Tea is a sophisticated affair.

It is said to have been championed by a friend of Queen Victoria’s, Anne Marie Russell, who wanted to stave off hunger pains in the often long break between an early lunch and a late supper. The teatime activity continues to be enjoyed more than a century later!

Youssef and his team couldn’t have been more accommodating and took real good care of us throughout the whole ‘event’ we had a fabulous time and felt welcome. The young ones had the best time and the food was of amazing quality with a range of choices. They also accommodated any allergies and dietary needs really well and couldn’t be kinder about it.
